This Privacy Policy describes how the PassLET App -- a Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) reviewer for Filipino education students, developed by VC Digital Media -- collects, uses, and protects your personal information. We are committed to safeguarding your data in compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and Google Play Store policies.

Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google Sign-In, we collect the following information from your Google account:

Display name (as shown on your Google account)

Email address

Profile photo / avatar URL

Additionally, as you use the app, we store the following data on our servers:

Session progress (questions answered, scores, and performance per topic)

Referral code (if you entered one during onboarding)

Subscription status and entitlements

How We Use Your Information

· To authenticate your identity and provide access to the app
· To save and sync your study progress across sessions
· To manage your subscription and premium entitlements
· To track referral code usage for partner commission payouts
· To display your profile information within the app (name and avatar)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties. Your information is used solely for the purposes described above.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase, a cloud database platform with enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit, row-level security policies, and regular security audits.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong Google account password and enable two-factor authentication.

Third-Party Services

PassLET uses the following third-party services:

Google Sign-In (Authentication)

Used to authenticate users. We receive your name, email, and avatar from your Google account. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Supabase (Backend & Database)

Stores user profiles, session progress, referral codes, and subscription data. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

Manages subscription purchases and entitlements. RevenueCat may receive your Google Play purchase receipt for validation. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Google Play Store (Distribution & Payments)

Handles app distribution and all payment processing for subscriptions. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any third-party advertising networks, analytics trackers, or location services. The app contains no ads and does not track your location.

Referral Program Data

If you participate in the PassLET referral program, we store:

· The referral code you entered or were assigned
· Whether you upgraded to a premium subscription (for commission calculation)
· The subscription product and price paid
· Timestamps for referral events

This data is used solely for referral attribution and partner commission payouts. Referral partners may see aggregate statistics (e.g., number of referrals, total commissions earned) but never your personal information.

Your Rights Under the Data Privacy Act

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), you have the following rights:

Right to be informed -- know what data we collect and why

Right to access -- request a copy of your personal data

Right to correction -- request correction of inaccurate data

Right to erasure -- request deletion of your personal data

Right to object -- object to data processing under certain conditions

Right to data portability -- receive your data in a structured format

Right to file a complaint -- file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC)

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the app's services. If you request account deletion, we will permanently remove your personal data from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Referral commission records may be retained for accounting purposes as required by Philippine tax regulations.

Children's Privacy

PassLET is designed for college-level education students and professionals preparing for the Licensure Examination for Teachers. The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will notify users of material changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
